Family Home Evening

We started having a Young Single Adults FHE at our house on Mondays. Tonight, we ate pizza, root beer, fruit pizza, and played some games. We started off with Curses:

We progressed to Ultimate Spoons outside. Funnest game of spoons I have ever played I have to say. :)

20!

Happy Birthday to me! My dad made me a 4 layer boston cream cake this year. :) I love our traditional birthday cakes! I decorated it this year though. It's an owl if you can't tell! Mom!

Anyways... the candles have the same color of flame as the candle! Pretty cool!

So long teenage years! :)

We like to think we can sing...

Haha! My family is so much fun!

Skimboarding!

I love the beach. :) The beaches here have good waves for skimboarding and boogy boarding, and it isn't too hot or too cold. AND the dolphins swim 20 feet away from you! I've already seen some jumping out of the water and chasing fish. So awesome!

So, here is me and Dallin. Being pro's. :)

What? Posed? Of course not!!! :)

And then...

I won I think. :)

Christmas in Delaware

I forgot I had these on my phone. During Christmas break while we were in Delaware, we were snowed in for a couple of days. Meaning, we just couldn't drive anywhere because they don't own snow plows. I guess that much snow isn't very common? On one of our "Snow Days", we just happened to find a long rope that was long enough to go over the edge of the balcony on top of the stairs. Dallin made a harness out of 2 belts and some other things. Here is the outcome:

Yes, I threw a snowball at my mom. Yes, she called me a poop. Yes, I did a dance so she wouldn't be mad at me. :) I win.

Babysitting!

Today I got to babysit Cohen and Jace. I LOVE those boys! They are such monkeys and I call them that regularly. :)

We rode our bikes to the park and Cohen decided that he wanted to be buried. So they started digging a deep hole...

I was giggling at them, so Cohen told me to take a picture. They both posed like this (below), and they held perfectly still for about 3 minutes, even after I took the picture. Monkeys I tell you! Haha!

Cohen was proud that he was still taller than Jace, even when he was buried up to his knees. :)

Jace's turn! I LOVE his smile!

Goofy!

Journal

I have about 4 different journals that I write in. I found one yesterday and decided to read it. One of the entries went like this:

April 16, 2007
My dad was eating next to Grandma Carpenter, and for some reason he made the comment, "Thats ok, I like it topless." She gave him the meanest glare, and me and Dena started giggling. My dad started laughing too, and he apologized to Grandma C. It wasn't on purpose, but it was super funny.

Hahaha! I think he was eating a sandwich without a piece of bread on top or something. I'm so glad I wrote this down! I love journals!
