My family is moving to Delaware!!!! Where did that even come from!? Delaware of all places! Oh my word! I think I'm more excited than scared now. When my dad first came home and told us that his old boss offered him a job in Delaware, my first thought was, "Hey thats cool, but yeah right! Delaware? Psshh!" Then they started talking about it being a possibility. I was really scared about it then because all I thought about was how far away that is! Then, my dad sends his resume in and the people pay for my mom and dad to go visit. They come back and say they are feeling good about it, and now that they are home, it is a done deal!!!!! I haven't really freaked out or had a nervous breakdown, which I thought I would, but I think I'm 'calm' about it because they are doing the right thing and I believe they are doing the right thing. Holy Moley! Delaware! Of all places! Those are the same phrases that have been going through my head for the past couple of days. Holy Cow! Delaware! HAHAHA!
My mom sent me pictures the whole time they were there and I think it helped my process from being completely terrified to totally excited!
This is the house she wants. I love it! I think it is so cute and she said it is 4 bedrooms and there is a basement. 3 Story. Holy Cow. And the backyard is literally a lake. HAHA!

Hmmmm....
Only in America ......do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.
Only in America .....do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke.
Only in America .....do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters.
Only in America .....do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.
Only in America......do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight.
Only in America .....do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering.
I Wonder.....
Why the sun lightens our hair, but darkens our skin?
Why women can't put on mascara with their mouth closed?
Why don't you ever see the headline 'Psychic Wins Lottery'?
Why is 'abbreviated' such a long word?
Why is it that doctors call what they do 'practice'?
Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavor, and dish washing liquid made with real lemons? Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker?
Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour?
Why isn't there mouse-flavored cat food?
Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes?
Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections?
You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?!
Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?
Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?
If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?
If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport the terminal?
Why did they call a lisp a lisp when people with a lisp can't say lisp?

Haha! This is awesome! This was from my Senior Girls Havasupai trip in the summer of '08! I got it hiking down and was wobbling the whole time down there. It was large and puffy, so it wasn't ignorable. When it was time to hike out, I put a pound of mole skin on it and it felt fine in my shoe. Well, hiking 10 miles made my feet numb, so when I got to the top and took off my boots, I found the mole skin by my heel and the blister was popped. It was gross. And oozing. When I got home, I cut off the skin because it kept getting caught on the carpet and I couldn't walk right. It was so cool!!!
I tag anyone who wants to do it!

I Love You Grandpa!!!

I loved that when I would walk to his front door and see him sitting in his usual spot on the left side of the couch, I would open the door and when he saw me he put a smile on his face. I would always say “Hello, sir!” and he would say “Hello my girl. Let me hold your hand for a minute.” I would walk over to him, give his hand a squeeze, and he would always say, “I’m proud of you, honey.”

I Cook!!!
If you know me, you know that I am the worst handler of foods in the world. My mother, brother, cousins, and most of my friends can attest to that. BUT!!! When I set my mind to something and tell myself I'm not allowed to mess this up, I can sometimes do it! Tonight I made dinner! I made enchiladas that turned out alright! They were easy and I thought they were pretty tasty. I also made snickerdoodles which might be the best cookie in the universe. They weren't burnt or anything!!!! They are yummy! So, I am hoping this is a new thing for me? I have always wanted to be one of those people who can think of something they want to make, and then make it happen. Dallin got that skill. Speaking of, I need to go e-mail him.....
